Gift Shop

The Gift Shop is run entirely by volunteers and is the Guild’s largest fundraising project. It is located in a bright new space at the front entrance of the hospital.

The Gift Shop accepts telephone orders for gifts, flowers, etc. to be delivered within the hospital. Mastercard and Visa are accepted. To place your order, please call 204-477-3350 and a volunteer will be happy to assist you.

The Gift Shop sells:

  • cold drinks and water
  • chips
  • soups
  • Peepers Eyewear
  • Naked Bee Products
  • snacks – candy, chocolate, and gum
  • used pocket books
  • fresh flowers notions
  • greeting cards
  • plush toys
  • gift ware
  • purses, jewellery, scarves, unique clothing, etc.

Hours of operation:

Monday to Friday – 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturdays & Sundays – 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The Gift Shop is also open on some statutory holidays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.


Television

HealthHub is pleased to provide patients with personal bedside television rental service.

To order service, please call 1-866-223-3686 (or dial extension 6400 from your bedside phone) or visit ConnectMyBed.ca.


Patient Telephone Services

Telephones are available in most patient rooms. In standard (four bed) and semi-private (two bed) rooms, the phone is shared. Long distance calls cannot be charged to your room number. Please do not use cell phones in patient rooms. Refer to signs posted throughout the hospital indicating where cell phone can and cannot be used.

Receiving calls in your room – all incoming calls are routed through one central call in line where you will hear recorded instructions. People wishing to call you require the following information:

  • Central call-in line number: 204-477-3221
  • Room extension number (this is found on the patient phone)

Mail Services

A volunteer will deliver mail directly to your room. Family and friends can also send a “Well Wishes” message (electronic mail) to a patient by clicking the link at the top of this page. The “Well Wish” e-mail message is sent via the Volunteer Services Office at Victoria Hospital and will be delivered to the patient by a volunteer.


Bank Machine

There is a banking machine available for use on site in the hospital’s lobby.
