Darlene Williams Room

The Darlene Williams Room is named after a former patient who passed away at Victoria Hospital in 2006 following a two month hospitalization, during which family visits always took place at her bedside in a room that had minimal space and lacked comfortable seating.

The Darlene Williams Comfort Room addresses this problem by providing a comfortable environment for the patient, family and friends. It allows for visits in an environment where families can watch a movie, play a game and have a home cooked meal together.

The room can be booked daily by contacting:

  • Monday to Friday (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) 204-477-3156.
  • Evenings (4:00 p.m. to Midnight.) and Weekends (8:00 a.m. to Midnight) at pager number 204-932-1086.

The room may be booked in two hour time blocks.

Please ensure that the room is left clean and tidy for the next family.
